Appellation : Woodlands Brook Vineyard, Wilyabrup Valley, Margaret River
Varietal:  55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, 17% Petit Verdot and 11% Malbec
Average Age of Vines: 13 years

Clone of Vines: Cabernet Sauvignon – Houghton’s
Surface Area :  7.5ha
Soil : The soils are Wilyabrup Class 1 – with a clay loam top soil, a bed of gravel and then a bed of white clay.
Exposure – Slope: The vineyard faces north west on a very gentle west facing slope, surrounded by south facing pastoral land
Harvest : March 2015
Average Yields:  Cabernet Sauvignon 12 hl/ha, Merlot 28 hl/ha, Petit Verdot 28 hl/ha and Malbec 17 hl/ha
Vine Density: 3000 vines/ha
Production:  7600 bottles/633 Cases
Vinification (Fermentation): Fermented in small stainless steel fermenters. Following fermentation, the Cabernet Sauvignon portions remained on skins for 28 days.
