Shiraz+2013+bottle+imageThe counterpoint to the Euro-styled Syrah, a full throttle, heroic Australian Shiraz.  This is defined by cutting the canes two weeks prior to harvest, which dries out the grapes, concentrating sugars as well as acidity.  Along the lines of an Amarone style but a little different in terms of being fresher, perkier and less ‘cooked’.  Powerful fruit flavours across the blue and black spectrum, dense and lush, with great cellaring promise.  A hedonistic style
