From the Stone Well parish with red clay soils and a deep limestone base providing riper, sweeter fruit than surrounding vineyards, good acidity due to the limestone content, destemmed for a 2-week wild yeast fermentation; for the first time no viognier skins in the fermentation, 2 weeks on shiraz skins, matured in French hogsheads for 12 months (one-third new).
