Colour: Bright medium crimson
Nose: The bouquet is highly floral and scented with perfumed red fruits raspberries and rose petals.
Palate: The vibrant and elegant palate flavours provide richness, subtlety and restraint. A balanced use of oak supports the punch of primary fruit without overwhelming and delivers a wine
that is powerful in fruit flavour, layered and complex. Most of the ferments were de-stemmed whole berries and as usual the fermentation and malo-lactic were carried out with indigenous yeasts and bacteria. Some batches finished ferment in oak whilst others spend a fortnight on skins post ferment. The wine then spent 18 months in oak before a light filtration and then bottling.
